As recent news stories have shown, any site could fall victim to hacking. To improve user ID and password security for our customers, Herff Jones is taking proactive measures to ensure school data is safe in eDesign and Stitch. On Friday, September 21, eDesign and Stitch will be converting to a new “https” secure address. Visitors to the old address will be automatically forwarded to the new address.
Current: http://hjedesign.com http://stitch.herffjones.com
New: https://hjedesign.com https://stitch.herffjones.com
Please share this information with your school IT personnel so that proper access may be granted to the new url and in the case of the school networks that have opened a specific path to eDesign down to the port level (port 80), so that they can redirect to port 443. In this case, the redirect will be blocked at your school’s firewall until the new address and port are allowed for eDesign and Stitch.
